We are excited to share with everyone that TOMMBA has completed their Strategic Planning process. In the short time we’ve been in existence (late 2012) we have accomplished some amazing things but realized that we needed some solid direction to ensure our future and continue to build and provide awesome mountain biking experiences for you. Thanks to a grant from the Charlevoix County Community Foundation we were able to secure funding to hire a consultant to guide TOMMBA through the strategic planning process. The initial planning meeting was held on March 3, 2018, and included several members of the TOMMBA Board along with Local Bike Shop owners and several key volunteers. That initial session began focusing our mission, our vision, and direction for the future. This helped distill a lot of information and ideas and put the Strategic Planning Team in place. The Strategic Planning Team met several times, working with Jennifer Booher, a professional consultant, and designed the basic organizational structure that TOMMBA would use as they moved forward.  This included the formation of several standing committees who have the major responsibility of making recommendations to the full board. Thanks to our dedicated volunteers and to all of you for supporting our endeavor!
